THIS IS THE TIME

Over the past weeks we have been talking about "Those Who Are Prepared." Mary was prepared for what God had planned for her when she said: "Be it unto me according to your word." When we talk about entering into God's purpose and plans and entering the promises, there also is preparation which must take place. Often when we talk about those who did not enter in, we use the verse in Hebrews 3 and 4. It says in Hebrews 3:19: So we see that they (Israel) could not enter in because of unbelief. We need to consider the process as well. Allow the Lord to speak to you as we look at His Word on this matter.
Deuteronomy 8:1-20: (Moses said) "Every commandment which I command you today you must be careful to observe, that you may live and multiply and go in and possess the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers. And you shall remember that the Lord your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, (1) to humble you and (2) test you, (3) to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not. So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord." The New Testament scripture is Matthew 4:4: (Jesus) answered and said, "It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'
"Your garments did not wear out on you, nor did your foot swell these forty years. So you should know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the Lord your God chastens you. Therefore you shall keep the commandments of the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to fear Him. For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills; a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey; a land in which you will eat bread without scarcity, in which you will lack nothing; a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you can dig copper.
"When you have eaten and are full, then you shall bless the Lord your God for the good land which He has given you. Beware that you do not forget the Lord your God by not keeping His commandments, His judgments, and His statutes which I command you today, lest—when you have eaten and are full, and have built beautiful houses and dwell in them; and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and your gold are multiplied, and all that you have is multiplied; when your heart is lifted up, and you forget the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage; who led you through that great and terrible wilderness in which were fiery serpents and scorpions and thirsty land where there was no water; who brought water for you out of the rock of flint; who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers did not know, that He might humble you and that He might test you, to do you good in the end—then you say in your heart, ‘My power and the might of my hand have gained me this wealth.'
"And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day. Then it shall be, if you by any means forget the Lord your God, and follow other gods and serve them and worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish. As the nations which the Lord destroys before you, so you shall perish, because you would not be obedient to the voice of the Lord your God."
There are three things taking place as you journey through your wilderness. The Lord is working in you: (1) TO HUMBLE YOU. Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord, and He will exalt you. (2) TO PROVE OR TEST YOU. The refiner's fire is present which brings discipline and obedience. (3) TO KNOW WHAT IS IN YOUR HEART. God knows what is in your heart, but sometimes you don't really know what is in your heart until you go through something. He will do you good at your latter end—not necessarily old age but having come to the end of one's self.
Again we see that it is not bread that sustains you but the Word of God. Remember that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. So obeying the Voice or Word of the Lord is vital to your entering into the promises of God. THIS IS THE TIME TO ENTER IN. Are you humbled? Are you passing the test? Do you know what is in your heart? Because Mary had passed the test, she could say: "Be it unto me according to your word." Are you ready to do the same?

PROPHETIC WORD FOR 2009
Given by Bishop/Pastor Phil Wiley
Do you not understand that this place (Bread of Life Church) is My Warcot? This place is where the anointing is released upon My Word so that it goes forth to the ends of the earth? It is here that My Word is received and tried and tested so that it can go to the nations and bring revelation and transformation in the lives of multitudes. Don't look in the natural, but look on and rely on the power of My Spirit and My Word.
Can you not see beyond this building? For thousands and thousands of believers just beyond these walls are being impacted and transformed by the Word of God flowing out of Bread of Life. There are multitudes of people who are spiritually connected to this place. Even though you are small in your eyes, you are large in God's eyes. Be faithful to what I have called you to, for there is much work to be done locally and internationally. Stop spending so much time thinking about your ministry, your identity, and what has happened to you. Start thinking about and meditating on what I can do through you. My purpose is to take you way beyond where you are. Make your declaration: "Be it unto me according to Your Word, O Lord."

PROPHETIC WORD GIVEN BY JOYMON
As we move year after year to embrace another season in our lives, God is in the business of taking us from glory to glory if we are willing to move with Him from faith to faith. As God moves us into this new year and to all the promises He has for us, we must move with His Spirit to take position and charge of what He has ordained for us this year of "greater glory."
The year of BEGINNINGS has given way to a year of HAPPENINGS. This year God will cause us all to move into a greater place of fulfillment of what He has begun in us over the past years. May He fulfill every good plan He has for us in every area of our lives to bring glory to His Holy Name! May we move into a higher level of deep intimacy with our Lord through the precious Holy Spirit. May you be blessed greatly of the Lord in this coming year.

AS YOU ENTER 2009, HERE ARE FIVE THINGS TO CONSIDER
        (1) Abide in the Vine in 2009. Jesus said in John 15:5: "I am the vine, and you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in him bears much fruit." Remember the word abide is "to soak."
        (2) Partake of the New Wine in 2009. Matthew 9:17: Jesus said, "People do not put new wine into old wineskins, or else the wineskins break, and the wine is spilled and the wineskins are ruined. But they put new wine into new wineskins and both are preserved." Let God change you.
        (3) Redeem the Time in 2009. Ephesians 5:15:16 says: See that you walk carefully....redeeming the time, because the days are evil. There is evil being planned at this time that will be manifested in the next few weeks which will affect the nations.
        (4) Arise and Shine in 2009. Isaiah 60:1: Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. Let your truth and light break forth.
        (5) Allow God's Divine Design to come forth in your life in 2009. Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says the Lord, "thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." Also 1 Corinthians 2:9-10.

HEALING is mine in 2009.
FINANCIAL BLESSING & PROSPERITY are mine in 2009.
GOD'S WISDOM is mine in 2009.
GOD'S LOVE is mine in 2009.
GOD'S PROTECTION is mine in 2009.
GOD'S PROMISES are mine in 2009.

NINE is the number for fruitfulness, fullness, and giftings, finality or bringing to completion. So 2009 will be the YEAR OF COVENANT—
~ Believing for a year of Fullness, Fruitfulness, and Super- natural Gifts.
~ Moving in New Wine and Fresh Anointing.
~ Seeing His Covenant fulfilled in our lives.
